Reliable Heating & Air Conditioning Co. Inc. was founded in June of 1971. From its original staff of three,  Reliable has grown to become Chattanooga’s largest Residential HVAC Company, a respected Commercial service provider and winner of the “Small Business of the Year” for the State of Tennessee. As a second generation family-owned business, Reliable offers nearly a half-century of service experience to our customers. A third Generation of Cornell’s is being trained to carry on the family tradition of Customer Delight.

LOCATION

The offices, manufacturing facility, Training facility and Showroom are centrally located in historic North Chattanooga, just minutes from downtown. Our shop is fully equipped to custom make ductwork for any size job, and our Showroom displays the latest in Home Comfort HVAC and Air Quality products. We operate a drug free environment.

That is why Reliable maintains the largest Factory Trained Service Team in the area. Our award winning Technicians are on call to provide 24 hour Emergency Service, backed by a friendly office staff whose sole purpose is to provide the ultimate Service Experience.

• Planned Service Agreements are the lifeblood of our business, and allow us to find small problems before they become costly ones. All Service Agreement holders are assured of Priority Service and discounts on repairs. With a Reliable Planned Service Agreement complete coverage is guaranteed.
• System Design and Replacement—Is your old system worn out or costing you a fortune to operate? We offer a full line of dependable, energy-efficient Maytag and Carrier brand products and accessories.
• Gas Piping and Electrical—Our staff of Master Gas Fitters and Electricians are on hand to take care of any need that may arise—keeping you safe and comfortable
• Whole House Standby Generators—In 1996 we began selling and installing Auto Standby Generators, and have grown to become the area’s leader in Turn-Key Generator Installation and Service
